You have a fine way of showcasing the interesting shapes in subject matter, especially still life - but, at the same time, there is the tendency to place the subject dead center in the composition, and also (though not in this one), to balance the composition symmetrically. With the two last I think you work against yourself by restricting flow. The observer's eye gets trapped in the center, discouraged from exploring and circulating through the composition, so it flits from one to another, instead of lingering.
