The colors of this piece really draw the viewer's eyes into it with the help of the darkened edges. The soft unfocused blue background brings out the darker leaves and branches while the horizontal position of the branches are an interesting touch to usual vertical branches. The branches not only help to lead the viewers eyes across the image but help to divide this piece and utilize negative space. The only off point of this piece is that it really doesn't present a theme that embraces the title. While the sky is an important part of this photo, the focal points are the branches and beautiful leaves. but this really doesn’t harm the photo itself (albeit a bit trivial), it is just the one of the less important parts of this piece.
