I don't much see the point, since many people hide their locations and there are a TON of members. Maybe if this was part of a larger search engine, but I don't want people looking up Japan and then spamming me with "omg konnichiwa luv Japan!!!" I get that sometimes, it's not so fun.

But I have wanted something I could search for users with, just not necessarily location. City, maybe, but then we'd all have to write that down somewhere. DA only asks about country, I think.
